Because leadership goes beyond what happens on Capitol Hill, Oliver had the opportunity to interact with a panel of renowned journalists at the National Press Club, including James Carney of Time, Ceci Connelly of the Washington Post, Ann McFeatters of Scripps Howard News Service and Reginald Stuart of Emerge magazine. These journalists and the students discussed current events, including the International Monetary Fund, the impeachment process, journalistic integrity and the role of the Internet in the media.
