The upcoming holiday can he a difficult time for those who have recently lost a family member because the deceased's absence is so conspicuous at tamils gatherings. Surviving family members may also endure the stress associated with giving themselves permission to enjoy the holiday in light of their recent loss. One key to coping with this situation is recognizing that things are going to be different this year. Denying that they are going to feel sad is only going to bury feelings deeper.
