Survivors include his wife of 63 years; two daughters Marilyn Hill of Vienna and Dianne Carson of Richmond; five grandchildren Julia Hill Nichols of Denver; Richard Hill of Leesburg, Shane Hill of Sterling, Trace Carson of Richmond and Stephen Carson of Boulder and two great granddaughters Katherine Hill of Sterling and Catherine Carson of Richmond.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, Dec. 1 at the Front Royal United Methodist Church in Front Royal with the Rev. William Kvle officiating. Interment was private.
