On March 18 Richard W. Burke was presented a Lifetime Achievement Award for demonstrating through his work efforts, conduct, and mannerisms, the Purpose, Mission and Values (PMV) of VDOT over the past 19 years and eight months.
Richard was nominated for this award by the Warrenton Resident Engineer, R. E. Moore. The award was presented to Richard by Don Askew, Culpeper District Administrator, at the PMV Open House at the Culpeper Headquarters. Richard was one of the recipients chosen from over 100 nominations. Richard retired March 1.
