• Sports News: On Thursday, March 25, the girls soccer team won their first game of the season againstEmmanuel Christian. The final score was Wakefield 5 and Emmanuel 4. Way to go, Lady Owls!
• Students in Mrs. Cooper’s physical education classes have been going through the final tests of the “Presidential Physical Fitness Award” program this past week. A baseline test was con- ‘ ducted in the fall to measure their physical skills and endurance levels.
• Lacrosse has come to Wakefield Country Day School, not only are the boys on the lacrosse team hard at work but our younger students are busy learning basic lacrosse skills. Matt Lynn, coach of the Lacrosse team, will be stopping by sometime, in April to give sixth and seventh graders a few pointers.
• Congratulations to Allison Russo, a fifth grade student, who has been accepted into the Summer Institute > for the Gifted program at Vassar College.
