Other business included discussion of the May meeting which will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the club.
After lunch, program chairman Maggie Bracewell introduced Mrs. Guy Harbert Jr. from Charlottesville who gave tips to members on preparing horticulture specimens for exhibit.
Two classes of design exhibits were scheduled for the day and Celine Siira won the blue ribbon in each of them. The horticulture entries were fewer than usual due to the cold weather but blue ribbons were awarded to Carol Miller, Betty Wood, Ruth Baumgardner, Carolyn Emerick, and Mary Revercomb.
