New Year's closings
All county government offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 1 and Tuesday, Jan. 2 in observance of New Year's Day.
The Rappahannock National Bank, F&M Bank in Flint Hill, the Rappahannock Public School System, area post offices and the Rappahannock News will be closed op Monday, Jan. 1 but will resume normal business hours on Tuesday,

-.'•By action of Dec. 22, Sprint PCS has withdrawn their Personal Wireless Services Facilities (PWSF) applications in Rappahannock County. This withdrawal also acts to withdraw and render moot the appeal of the Zoning Administrator's decision which was scheduled to be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals on Dec. 27 at the Rappahannock County High School. Accordingly, there will be no hearing or meeting. « • The next meeting of the Rappahannock County School Board will be on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the High Slchool Band Room.
