Rappahannock music began its resurgence in the late Eighties, and hasn't slowed down yet.
Old rockers returned, new musicians found their way to the County or grew from the babies of the first generation, and a new venue bloomed on a Sperryville roadside.
The OK’s regrouped after breaking up in 1981, and performed locally in their "Relapse Tour" of 1989 with Scott and Barry Muthersbaugh, Bill Abernathy, Smiggy Smith, Terry Lee Waggener, and Steve Pratt. A brand new version of the OK's features Bill, Smiggy, Terry, and Andrew Smith of Stick ’Em Up filling in on drums.
