the afternoon of Dec. 23. According to the police report, Christopher Allen Bowen, 37, was observed in his automobile in the Castleton area, and was headed toward Culpeper when .he was apprehended and charged with the offense. Theft reported Two mirrors were reported stolen off of a 1991 Ford truck parked at the Bennett & Butler used car lot on U. S. 211 near Massie's Comer. According to Sheriff Sherertz, the theft occurred on Dec.. 12. "This is still an active case, which we are pursuing as misdemeanor theft," because the value of the stolen items is probably under $200, said Sherertz. The investigating officer is Dep. Mark Currence.
