Davis Fincham

Retired painter

Davis Brown Fincham, 82, of Aroda died Saturday, Dec. 16 at his residence.

He was bom Aug. 24, 1918 in Washington, the son of the late James Fincham and Lillie Horton Fincham.

He was a member of Walkers United Methodist Church and a retired painter.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby L. Fincham of Aroda; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Fincham of Aroda; three brothers, Herbert Fincham and Buck Fincham, both of Front Royal and Robert Fincham of Aroda; two halfsisters, Helen Gray of Washington and Honeybee Rochshell of Maryland and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Dec. 19 at Good Hope Baptist Church by the Rev. Dewey Powell and Rev. Bill Clayton.

Preddy Funeral Home in Madison was in charge of the arrangements.

William McKinley Fletcher of - Harris Hollow Road, Washington died on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at his residence.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at press time on Tuesday.
