iffered from a lack of maintenance and attention. Please join the group on Saturday, June 2 beginning at 8 a.m. and lend your support in this endeavor.
Bring whatever tools you have that may be of use in general cleanup and trash removal, trimming grass around headstones and markers, pruning shrubs and trees, etc. Cold drinks and snacks will be provided. The gates to the cemetery steps were removed approximately six months ago, anyone with information is encouraged to call Carson Johnson at 987-8720.
Sperryville
prepares for
annual carnival
The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department’s annual carnival will be held June 6-9. Special ride prices will be featured on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening.
The parade will be held Thursday, June 7 at 7 p.m. Crowning of the queen and awarding of the grand prizes will be held on Saturday at 10 p.m. and midnight, respectively. The entire community is encouraged to support this endeavor.
