Outstanding performers in girls basketball received trophies at last Tuesday’s RCHS sports banquet. Most improved varsity honors went to Lori Frye, most valuable varsity honors to Sandy Wines and most valuable JV honors to Melissa TWner.
Airman Edward J. Carroll, son of Donald Carroll of Sperryville has been assigned to Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas after completing Air Force basic training.
The rollicking cowboy musical, Oklahoma, will be presented this weekend at the local high school, under the direction of Don Bomberger.

The Inn at Little Washington was one of the ten U.S. restaurants to be inducted into the Restaurant Hall of Fame last month. Patrick O’Connell and Reinhardt Lynch, proprietors of American’s only Five Star Inn, accepted the award on May 19 at a special awards ceremony hosted by Nation’s Restaurant News at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Chicago.
