Falls placed fifth. Caroline Massie took reserve for her Pen of Two Heavyweights. Other Pen of Two competitors were Samantha Falls and Robert Falls.
Rappahannock 4-H members performed well in the Sheep Show on Wednesday evening. Katie Updike won grand champion lamb. Katie also placed first in the 105 pound lamb class and the 120 pound lamb class.
Brooke Thorpe won first place in the 95 pound lamb class and sixth in Novice Showmanship.
Brittany Thorpe won third place in the 115 pound lamb class and eighth place in Senior Showmanship.
The Thorpe sisters also did well in the 4-H Poultry Show. Brooke won fourth place in Showmanship, first and Reserve Best of Breed with her Partridge Cochin and second with her Black Austrdlorp hen. Brittany won first place in Senior Showmanship, first place and best of Breed with her White Cochin, and second place with her Silverlace Wyandotte.
