Tennessee for visits in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Severville. Visiting the many shops were treats for the ladies, and be sure there was no trouble finding great places to dine.
One whole day was spent in Dollywood where we enjoyed visiting the broom shops, blacksmith shops, one room schoolhouse, and the candle making shops. We took a tour of Dolly’s old church and rode Dollywood Express five miles into the Great Smoky Mountains. For dining here we chose the “Ham and Bean” Restaurant, about the closest to “old fashioned” as you can get.
On the return trip we followed the Interstate and great to be back. We were ever so thankful to our Lord for a safe trip, never even witnessed the first accident.
It’s not too late to offer our congratulations to young people of our area who have done so well and graduated from their respective colleges, namely, Franklin Smith of Reva and Jennifer Hawkins, also a Reva resident, both graduated from James Madison University,
