RCHS Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleading tryouts commence on Monday, Aug. 6 at the Washington School in town from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Student athletes must have a physical and come dressed and ready to exercise. Questions should be directed to Varsity Head Coach Julie Atkins at 987-8630 (home after 6 p.m.).
• Junior Panther Girls’ Basketball tryouts commence on Monday, Aug. 6 at the RCHS gym from 4 to 5:30 p.m. All girls going into grades 6th, 7th and 8th are eligible to compete for a place on this team. Physicals are not required to play on this team, but parents/guardians will be required to sign a release for student participation. Questions should be directed to the RCHS Athletic Director Jon Smythe at 987-8575 (the high school from 8 a m. to 5 p.m.)
