Kerry Sullivan, a Boston resident received a bachelor of science degree in communications and Elizabeth Henshaw of Reva, received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. The two young ladies were graduates of Radford University.
Congratulations to the State Champion Rappahannock Varsity Softball team for winning the best appearing civic entry in the Amissville parade and also to the Reva Fire Department for placing second for the best commercial pumper. Castleton Fire Department placed first in the best appearing ALS ambulance and Salem Fire Department came in second in that category.

Mrs. Michael Swindler of Culpeper was a Tuesday evening guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and Christopher on Turkey Ridge Road.
The Reva Volunteer Fire and Rescue will be having a fund raiser, this time an old fashioned ice cream social, which will take place on Sunday, Aug. 12, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Not only will there be ice cream, but a light lunch of hot dogs, baked beans and potato salad, to be topped off with sundaes, banana splits and ice cream cones. For entertainment there will be singing,
