But Jones’s character becomes distasteful while Robert’s becomes increasingly appealing by comparison. And, of course, it’s Jones’s husband (Cusack) who begins to have eyes for Roberts. Marcia Gay Harden plays Pollock’s wife in the strongest performance of her career.
