Elizabeth Pratt won a first and second place in the Baked Goods Department. Katie Nelson won two first places, one second, one third and one fourth place.
Steven Nelson won one first, one third and one fourth place.
Cloverbud exhibitors in the Home Economics Department were Richie Pratt and Case Kramer.
In the 4-H Horse Show, Katie Nelson placed second in the showmanship class and Allison Kelly placed sixth place in two pleasure classes and third in showmanship.
In the Open Pet Cloverbud Show, Eleasha Clement showed her chicken and received a ribbon.
In the Open Pet Show, Anne Riedel won fourth place showing her cat, Daniel Clement won first place showing his chicken and Andrew Kohler won second place and Juleah Clement third place showing chickens.
The 2001 Farm Fair ended Sunday evening with the awards ceremony. Service Awards were won by Katie Updike for the Sheep Department and David Massie for the Swine Department. Samantha Falls won the “Porcine Award” in the Swine Department for being the most helpful.
Overall, the 2001 Culpeper-MadisonRappahannock Farm Fair was enjoyed by all.
