Unlike the Grizzly Bear of the American West, our bears are rarely dangerous to humans.
However, truth be told, there are some problem bears, and they can decimate an orchard in short order.
But “bear problems" are usually better characterized as “stupid human" problems.
For example, I have one neighbor who intentionally spreads his garbage out in back because he enjoys watching the bears.
Somehow, I think blaming the bear for coming to feed is putting the blame in the wrong place.
