Age of consent
Sharron Proper presented a petition that would change the age of sexual consent “back to eighteen" from the present age of thirteen. She said that she understood that the age of consent was recently dropped to thirteen, and she related a family issue that caused her to seek a return to the majority age for sexual consent. Del. Louderback said that he would into the action that reduced the consent age. and he accepted the petition as well.
