Mason High School. They were declared District COChampions. Final record going into the tournament is: Varsity—9 wins/2 losses/1 tie overall and same in the District (tied for 1st).
The team lost to George Mason on Friday, May 17 during penalty kicks, after being tied in regulation play and after four five-minute overtime periods had expired without a score. That game determined the District’s number one seeding for the Region “B” Tournament which commences next week.
The Varsity girls finished the regular season with a tie at Clarke County and a loss at George Mason. Final record going into the tournament is: Varsity—3 wins/6 losses/1 tie in the District (4th place).
The Junior Varsity finished the regular season with a loss at home to the Clarke County team. Their final record is: JV—0 wins/8 losses in the District (4th place).
The Junior Panther Boy’s Soccer Team finished the season with a win against Marshall Middle School on the road. Their final record is: Junior Panther—2 wins/2 losses/3 ties open competition.
