Massanova Christian School will be having their graduation at the church. Saturday, May 25 beginning at 2 p.m.

Seniors who will be graduating this year include: Kristen Frazier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Frazier, Leandra Hill, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Charlie Hawkins, and Devonna Savage, daughter of Mrs. Marsha Savage. ' The public is invited to this graduation, as we wish each graduate much success in the future.

We’d like to extend our sympathy to the family of Mrs. Sally Keyser, our neighborly neWs writer for the Sperryville column, who passed away at a nursing home in Berryville on Friday.

-Novum Baptist Church was blessed with a great service on Sunday afternoon when their new pastor, Rev. Jeff Light, was ordained to the Gospel Ministry. Rev. Lanny Horton, moderated the services. Rev. Starke Jones, former pastor of Woodville Baptist Church gave the charge to Rev. Light.

Rev. Ted Fuson, pastor of Culpeper Baptist Church gave the charge to the church and Rev. Harold Eaton, a former pastor and Rev. John Miller, pastor of Alum Spring Baptist Church offered the prayers. May the Lord’s blessings rest upon the new Pastor Light and the congregation as they labor together for our Lord. A full house was in attendance for these services. Anyone in or around the church area are invited to their regular Sunday services.

Rev. Ron Maki, the new pastor of Slate Mills Baptist Church invites the public to Sunday School at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11.
