Second Lt. Jonathan A. Watson Jr. has received silver wings upon graduation from pilot training at Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, Miss. His mother and stepfather are Mr. and Mrs. B.H. Pendleton Jr. of Sperryville. The lieutenant is a 1987 graduate of Rappahannock County High School in Sperryville and a 1991 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo.
