Mr. Leggett asked if Resources International had responded to his request, made during the Avon Hall property walk-through last week, that they provide contacts at treatment plants of similar size to that contemplated by the town. The mayor said that Resources International had not, but that he would follow’-up on the request.
Mr. Goebel then asked about the “legality of limiting the (capacity of the) system” and Town Attorney John Bennett responded by suggesting that any limitation may be legal if the town develops and enacts a wastewater collection and treatment ordinance in which the allocation of wastewater treatment system resources are prioritized.
