RCES team have implemented an excellent reading program enhancement with Accelerated Reader and Star Reader. As you know, the program involves not just a couple of pieces of computer software, but a cooperative effort by Mrs. Wheatley, the library and teachers.
Purchases for the program, about $10,000 worth, were sponsored by all the “usual suspects,” that is, by the school plus the sources that often provide support for the school system: Headwaters, PTO, Curriculum Enrichment and private donors.
