recognized at a reception at the library on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Winners at the kindergarten level: Lily Lauben. Philip von Feilitzsch. Devon Downes and Alex Aitken. First grade winner was Emily Perry and the third grade winner was -John Morgan Christoph. Catherine Forrester was the fourth grade winner and eighth grade winners were Saawan Mehta and Ben Luke. James Milan, a tenth grader at WCDS rounded out the group. Congratulations to all of these wonderful students for thenhard work.
• WCDS was proud to announce at last week's assembly that 17 students who attended the Virginia Junior Classical League Convention held in Richmond recently brought home a total of 34 awards. Among the numerous awards collected, Nicole Fegeas won first place in Sweepstakes for Level IL and her sister, Michelle Fegeas, won second place.
