Dec. 19,1960 A beautiful and impressive service took place Saturday, Dec. 14 in Trinity Episcopal Church Bromfield Parish, Washington at the Ordination to the Sacred Order to the Priesthood of Charles F. Giaenzer, present Rector of the Church by the Right Rev. Frederick Dean Goodwin, DJD., LLD. retired Bishop of Virginia. Following the ceremonies a luncheon was served to the assemblage by the Women of Bromfield Parish. Clifton C. Clark of Woodville was elected president of the Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association for 1964 at the re-organizational meeting held in Culpeper on Dec. 11. A front page photo featured Stewart Palmer feeding a baby pig with a bottle. Stewart’s 4-H sow gave birth to 17 babies this week and facilities were not adequate for such a large family so Stewart decided to feed some with a bottle. The J.V. basketball team at Rappahannock County High School included Mike Welch, Bill Welch, Donnie Deal, Cecil Pullen, Carl Clark, Mack Dodson, Roger Atkins, Thomas Brown, Melvin Atkins, Page Moffett, Billy Mundy and CJ£. Dodson.
