from the city, unless it’s while the leaves are turning, but we do get a lot of traffic.”

Dinner’s ready

Oravec prepares lunches Wednesday through Sunday, featuring such items as burritos, wraps and quesadillas.

But these aren’t your mamacita’s burritos, wraps and quesadillas.

You can get wraps with grilled Jamaican jerk swordfish or organic Clare Island salmon. Burritos can come with Niman Ranch natural pork tenderloin, Bell and Evans Chicken, and Han’s Chicken sausage. Quesadillas might be filled with Edward’s country ham, pepperoni and mozzarella, or Italian sausage and tomatoes.

That’s just one menu, and the menu changes frequently. Last Friday Oravec was stirring a pot of roasted red pepper soup while being interviewed.

“We change the menu every day,” he said. “It just depends on what we have in here. Everything is fresh every day. If I want to use something, I use it.”

Epicurious Cow also does catering—“We did, what, a dozen turkey dinners for Thanksgiving?” Oravec said—and will prepare dinner for customers.
