With a big lead in the fourth the starters sat and watched their teammates play the final five minutes. Wade Norman, Jonathan Butler, and Charles Crawford played good defense on the back line, and pulled some key rebounds for the Panther team. Patrick Hanberry, Steve Dodson and L.B. Settle did their job upfront at the guards’ position controlling the game for their teammates.
Hanberry hit a big three in the final minutes, and Dean Hogan hit a foul shot in the final minutes to seal the victory for the Panther team, 42-32.
This was the greatest win ever; everyone got to play and contributed in the victory.
Porter finished the game with 16 points and Jenkins and Boelte added eight apiece.
