Greetings all you bird watchers and “bird feeders” of Rappahannock.
The Rappahannock News is planning to run a monthly column on “Birds of Rappahannock.” We would like to know what birds you have seen, where you saw them, and if any of the birds seen were of special interest. For example Bald Eagle seen by (name of resident) near Rock Mills; American Kestrel (Sparrow Hawk) seen in median near Attic Treasures. We will also note the start of spring and fail migrations of such birds as the Hummingbird, Oriole and Tanager and insert information on nesting Bluebirds.
