but could not crack the scoring column in the quarter and found themselves down 16-4 at the half. Brittany Thornhill had three of the teams’ first half points. The Lady Panthers’ offense picked up in the second half as Molly Burke erupted for eight fourth quarter points, hitting two three-pointers, but it was not enough to get the Lady Panthers in the win column. Thornhill had nine points to go along with the eight by Burke to lead the Panthers.

Against the Eagles of Clarke the Lady Panthers came out with their best defensive half of the season. The offense also picked up for the Panthers as Courtney Hutcheson had three first quarter points but the Panthers trailed 10-5 after one quarter.

A basket by Molly Burke and a free throw by Hutcheson cut the Eagle lead to 10-8 but the Panthers were outscored 151 the remainder of the quarter to trail 25-9 at the half.

The Lady Panthers put together one of their best offensive quarters in the fourth quarter against Clarke putting 16 points on the board. Samatha Brown had six points in the quarter to lead the Lady Panthers but the effort was not enough to get the Panthers over the top. Brittany Thornhill had nine points to lead the team.
