workshops
to be held
On the third Wednesday of each month, the Partnership for Warrenton and the Lord Fairfax Small Business Development Center host a morning workshop specifically for local retailers. Come and talk with experts who understand what you do and can help with the business side of your business.
The workshops are at the BB&T Board Room, 21 Main Street in Warrenton and are from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The cost is $15 per workshop. Seating is limited and registration is required.
On Feb. 18, there will be a workshop on “Negotiating Your Lease.” Key to a retailer's business plan is location. The better the location, the higher the stakes.
On March 17, there will be a workshop on “Human Resource Issues for Retailers.” Understand your legal responsibilities as you build your staff, and learn the “do’s and don’t’s” of hiring new employees.
