The Junior Panther boys’ basketball team played its final home game Jan. 21 and since it was parents’ night, the young team had a big cheering crowd.
The Panthers faced the North Fork Rebels. In their first meeting Rapp won 48-37. The Rebels, who showed a lot of improvement, scored first but Rapp answered back with a two by Travis Jenkins.
Rapp took the first quarter 10-6. In the second, North Fork outscc-red the Panthers 12-7. Shawn Porter had four in the quarter while Jenkins hit a big three.
