Windmore Foundation for the Arts, Inc. has announced that the Dorothy Skelton Arts Scholarship applications are available from the Windmore offices by calling 727-8777 and in the guidance offices of Culpeper, Orange, Madison, and Rappahannock high schools.
A $1,000 scholarship is available to a graduating senior who wishes to pursue his or her education in the visual, performing or literary arts. This scholarship was created in honor of local artist Dorothy Skelton, who was an avid supporter of arts education. This will be the third year the scholarship has been awarded.
Completed applications should be returned no later than April 16.
