Starting pitchers
In opening games against Page County last week, Rappahannock County High School senior Brittney Thornhill, left, opened the softball game, had a double hit and the only run for Rappahannock. The girls lost 5-1 in the non-district game. Meanwhile., sophomore Jacob Dodson opened the baseball game for Rappahannock and hit a home run. Daniel Pierson had a single and double hit to help the Panther effort. The boys lost to Page 13-3.
