Cemetery cleanup
Join the Sperryville Cemetery Ad Hoc Maintenance Committee on Saturday, April 3 at 9 a.m. tor a general cleanup day at the Sperryville Cemetery. Bring whatever tools that may be of use in cleanup and trash removal, trimming grass around headstones and markers and pruning shrubs and trees. Refreshments will be provided.
Moonlight hike April 3
There will be a Moonlight Hike of Old Rag Mountain on Saturday, April 3. Hikers should meet at the upper parking lot trailhead for the "Ridge Trail" on the Nethers side of the mountain via Route 231/ Route 600 by 6:30 p.m. and have layerable clothing, nourishment and a back-up light source.
Writing workshop deadline
‘How To Interview and Find the Story' - a one day workshop will be held Saturday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with award-winning life story writer, Julie Portman. Presented by Ki Theatre in Washington, writers will learn interview techniques, how to uncover themes and "the story” in a person's life. Registration deadline is March 28. Fee is $130.
