At what sort of sale would you find a horse? Would it be (A) horse auction or (B) the Rappahannock 4-H Livestock Club’s First Annual Jumble Sale?
The answer happens to be both A and B. That’s right. A dazzling white Arabian gelding donated by Alex Sharp of Mountain Green farm will be sold for $499 on Saturday, March 27 at the Flint Hill Fire Hall where the 4-H Livestock Club will hold its sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This centerpiece horse will be surrounded by a multitude of household goods such as an antique clawfoot tub donated by Jean Lillard, a planter’s wagon, microwave, television, four 14inch Michelin tires, antique carpenter’s chest made of solid yellow pine, push mower, folding chairs, set of weights with bench, child’s car seat, Fisher Price easel, vases, videos, lamp, books and many other items from the home, compliments of county residents and businesses.
