ROOFING RETROFIT
AMISSVILLE FIRE COMPANY
The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is soliciting bids from firms to provide a roofing retrofit of the Amissville Fire & Rescue Company building in Amissville, Virginia. in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Dwight Matthews, AIA, dated March 11, 2004. No prequalification is required for this contract.
The work includes the provision of all supervision labor and materials to accomplish the re-roofing of the structure that serves as the headquarters of the Amissville Fire & Rescue Company on Lee Highway in Amissville, VA. Project is to commence as soon as possible after a Notice to Proceed which shall be issued by April 7, 2004, but is to be completed not later than June 30, 2004.
All terms and conditions are outlined in a bid package available from the County Administration Office. All bids must be received at the County Administrator's Office, Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P.O. Box 519, Washington VA 22747 by Friday, March 30, 2004, by 3:00 PM., at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
The terms of Competitive Sealed Bidding as set forth in the Virginia Public Procurement Act shall apply. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
