Turner Pictures and New Line Pictures and “Gods & Generals” (based on a book by Jeff Shaara, Michael’s son), released in February, 2003, produced by Warner Bros, with Tbd Turner as executive producer. The third part of the trilogy will be “Last Full Measure,” also by Shaara and produced by Turner, with no production or release date.
Maxwell has plans for other films, including one about Joan of Arc, but at his age, he seems resigned about his future interests, which will center on his home and this region, and the history that was created here.
