‘Creation Camps”
The Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church of Sperryville is offering two summer day camps at no cost to participants beginning June 21. “Creation Camps” are designed for children who currently have no church home.
The first camp, for children grades 1-4 (currently in K-3) is June 21-24.
The second camp, for children grades 5-7 (currently in 46) is July 12-16. Both camps run daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The curriculum revolves around a series of daily field trips and hands-on activities— from fossil hunts to swimming to praise dance, where children will learn the Biblical story of creation and be introduced to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
Children then will be invited to participate in Sunday worship services at Reynolds on June 27 and July 18 to share some of the things each has learned.
The camp provides fun in an active, loving, learning and nurturing environment, with adult supervision and teen youth leaders as the primary teachers. Registration is limit
