Sudley Road was a two land road when the preseift location, 8000 Sudley Road, was opened. As Manassas grew so did Dudley Martin Chevrolet, selling and servicing many thousands of automobiles over the years. Many of the employees have been there 20 and 30 years and look back with pride and satisfaction over their careers. They all spoke of the mutual loyalty between themselves and the Martin family much of it probably due to Mike Martin’s open door policy. If there is a problem, either personal or business, he is there for them. There is truly a sense of family that is hard to find in today’s world.
With growth came more responsibility to the community and Mike Martin, the 3rd generation Dealer Operator, for the past 20 years, took on the challenge. The Dealership donates generously to several civic causes, donating cars to Prince William County schools for driver’s education and sponsoring school athletic teams. Mike Martin was the Vice-Chairman of the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board and Chairman of the Virginia Automobile Dealers Association. He was the Time Magazine Virginia Quality Dealer of the Year 2002 and currently serves as the National Automobile Dealers Association Director for Virginia Dealers.
Mike’s brothers are an integral part of the Dealership as well. John Martin is the Director of Finance and Pat Martin is the General Sales Manager.
