Vocational School in Madison. Scholarships designed to promote secondary education in agriculture suffered when the winners left those pursuits later in their academic careers to seek other income producing endeavors, i.e., computers, business and professional goals. But now we have come full circle. There is nothing mankind can do without sustainable agriculture.
As Rappahannock County High School seeks to establish an agriculture curriculum, our family urges you to join us in remembering my father in establishing a fund for the agricultural program at the school. What could be a more appropriate way to celebrate my Dad’s life than by helping the young people of this county to feel successful and fulfilled staying in the field of agriculture9 And so my mother, and our family, are requesting you to support this program in Dad’s memory.
We will match all contributions for a year. They may be made c/o Headwaters Endowment for the Bill Young Memorial Fund.
We hope lor the program’s success in keeping Rappahannock County green.
