Well, it’s that time of year
again—the time when Rappahannock County turns into a motor speedway, as the parade of high octane motorcycles zip through our beautiful county.
I live on Route 211 in Amissville and it is common, on any given weekend to see dozens of motorcycles pass by our house, some traveling easily in excess of 100 miles per hour.
As the accident and casualty rates continue to increase the cyclists must think it can’t happen to them. As the bikers make their way to Skyline Drive I wonder if it dawns on them they may not be making the return trip.
