Salem Baptist Meeting House has been entered in the U.S. Department of the Interiors’ National Register of Historic Places. It is “an excellently preserved and well-documented example of a rural Virginia church of the mid19th century. ...” Brigid Cleary, daughter of CoL and Mrs. John Cleary of Sperryville and Camp Springs, made her professional debut as an actress in the June 5th opening of “Murder at the Vicarage” at the Olney Theatre in Olney, Maryland. Brigid plays the role of Lettice Protheroe in the Olney’s production of the Agatha Christie mystery.
