Spring event
New mentor Sam Fox hosted this springs event at his cattle farm on April 18. Fifty people attended with youth and adults participating in a scavenger hunt on the “mill race trail”, a trust walk, games with volunteer Nol Putnam, and a barbecue. Nineteen children in the program attended the day’s festivities.
Mentoring programs around the nation continue to receive increased attention because the results have proven throughout the 100 years that Big Brother/Big Sister has existed, that children who have significant adults in their lives.
