Rappahannock News Staff Writer

Rappahannock County is kept up-to-date with weather information thanks to data recorded in Beth Gall’s science class at Rappahannock County High School.

RCHS is one of 7,000 schools involved in a weather mapping system known as the WeatherBug Achievement Program.

In the mid-90’s, NBC4 news, with the assistance of meteorologist Bob Ryan, donated the system.

Dennis Wingfield of Sperryville was the NBC4 weather watcher at the time and he made an appeal to
