Rappahannock County High School wrestler Dos Allen brought home the gold in the 145-pound division after two days of wrestling at Parry McCluer High School in Buena Vista this past weekend.
“The team showed they are capable of wrestling at the state level,” said Rappahannock coach Eric Spath.
Allen ' decisioned Christiansburg’s Luke Brugh on Friday, followed by pins in his remaining matches to take him into the finals round.
In the final match, Allen decisioned Parry McCluer’s Ronnie Johnson for the victory.
Also making it to the final bout was Rappahannock’s Alex Sharp, who placed second in the tourney at 135 pounds.
