“It was a tough game,” said Coach Tbussaint Summers last Friday night, after the Rappahannock County High School boys’ basketball home game.
The Panthers fell to the Clarke County Eagles 90-40.
Clarke County scored the opening points, the 3-pointer setting the pace of the game. With Clarke applying a full-court pressure defense, Rappahannock had a very difficult time crossing mid-court.
By the end of the first quarter, the Eagles managed to put 32 points on the board, while the Panthers put up only six.
