Wakefield Country Day School’s girls’ basketball hosted Massanutten Mihtary, and the holiday break was just what the team needed to defeat MMA 52-12 on Jan. 5.
Chantel Paul led the boards for Wakefield with 14 as Jordan Hammelman added 12 for the win.
“We had practiced over the holidays and were ready for this game,” said Wakefield head coach Jim Dale, “After the first quarter, there was no doubt we would win.”
