This month’s athlete was nominated not only by one of his coaches, but also by one of Rappahannock County High School’s administrators. Dos Allen, a junior at RCHS recently achieved a goal that few other athletes accomplish, he was a state runner-up in a sport, wrestling. “He was Rappahannock’s first state finalist ever, eventually finishing second in the tournament,” said RCHS principal, Roger Mello, referring to Allen’s recent accomplishments in the state wrestling tournament. His wrestling coach, Eric Spath said, “Dos definitely deserves to be athlete of the month after what he did at states. He has quite a future ahead of him.” Mello went on to elaborate on Allen’s athletic accomplishments, telling how he scored Rappahannock’s only goal in this year's season opening soccer game against Warren County,
